Группа Lapko появилась в 1996 году и начала свои выступления с панк-рока. Сейчас Lapkoопределяют свой стиль как агрессивно-меланхоличный альтернативный рок. Группу любят завсегдатаи финских клубов и концертов за ни с чем не сравнимое меланхоличное звучание и эмоционально-ироничную лирику.

Выступления
География выступлений Lapko заметно уже чем у известных финских групп, но их с удовольствием принимают клубы Германии и Прибалтики. На родине финских альтернативщиков можно услышать в рок-клубах Semifinal, Bar Loose, Virgin Oil, Nosturi в Хельсинки, Telakka в Тампере.
В 2010 группа выступила в клубах Москвы и Санкт-Петербурга.
